With over 20 years of experience in the Health & Wellness Personal Development and Self-Help industry, I have amassed a wealth of knowledge, turned into tools and techniques to be a significant Impact and Inspiration for others to follow, leading by example. My motto is “whatever you do the most of you become the best at.”
As an Army Veteran serving internationally, being away from friends and family weighed heavily on me. I noticed that it also weighed heavily on many of my military comrades. This tremendous weight contributed to many of us becoming consumed by separation anxiety and the hard knocks of Life. Compounded with my experience living in the Inner-city and experiencing staggering adversities when I return to a civilian life.
I worked many jobs that kept me just over broke, unable to pay my bills, and living in some of the worst project conditions, almost unfit for human survival. Due to my toxic behaviors and associations, combine with a lack of healthy boundaries.
I found myself abusing sex, drugs, and alcohol which led to my incarceration for six years. I used this time effectively to educate myself and to bring my life to a higher level of existence. I begin to read intently to learn ways of self-improvement that will help me make it through the dangers of incarceration. I saturated my mind and my heart with books that would transform the way I would begin to see and live my life. Two books that had an indelible impact on my life were Tony Robbin’s “Awaking the Giant Within,” and Les Brown’s “It’s Not Over Until You Win” which I am still implementing in my life today.
It was in finding myself on the path of self-destruction—hurting people and being hurt by people without taking ownership of it—I realized it contributed to my downward spiral resulting in me being homeless, sleeping in my car. As with so many people that have also experienced this level of homelessness, self-sabotage, and feelings of abandonment, I had had enough. I realized, as Dr. Wayne Dyer shares, “If you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change.” So now, I too, could not only change what I thought about, but how I thought about things, felt about things. I can change my behaviors to free me from the things that once kept me bound. I knew that there was more to life than where I was at. Something had to change; and I knew that the change would have to begin with me! I made a choice to take ownership of my own life, and you can, too!
These experiences have embodied me with proven, strategic methods and philosophies that are a blueprint and a road map to success. It is my intention that it inspires others to take ownership and be control of their lives regardless of the obstacles and challenges they may be facing. Understanding that these adversities are common to someone facing devastation when experiencing their Life-Adjustment moments of transition. Most feel like giving up, throwing up their hands, while others have literally been on the verge of suicide, because that’s the place I, too, found myself in. So, I’m now, working in collaboration with others through the spirit of empathy, attentiveness, compassion, significance, and practical approaches. What we resolve to do is assist someone growing through their mental, emotional and relational conflicts while fighting for their Breakthrough out of their most stressful addictive, and at times criminal, behaviors and/or traumatic circumstances.
I am a Human-Becoming, an Artist/Musician, an Author, Mind-Strategist, Master-Connector, Life-Transformational Guide, a Philanthropist, an Advocate for Human-Rights/Humanitarian, a Leader by example.
